Preface
I joined this site, originally, in 2010, after a decade of celibacy. Within a month, I was in a fun and flirty conversation with a young, married man. We started an affair, which only ended when I moved out of the area in 2018. We have met a few times since and remain friends (that would like to still have benefits) to this day. If you were to ask me when his birthday is though, I would tell you that I don't know. In the Spring, I think ... maybe March.

I had a dream last night. In my dream, it was March and I needed to wish my friend a Happy Birthday. It was vivid. So vivid that I woke up actually thinking it was still March. Well, you know us retired folks ... we never know what day it is anyway. 😂
Action
Since, we hadn't touched base in a while, I sent him a text ...
My dream self says I should wish you a Happy Birthday even though my real self figures I'm wrong.
Result
Turns out that my dream self knows things that I don't. Today - not just this month BUT TODAY was his birthday.
Reaction
As a person with a practical and logical brain, this has left me totally discombobulated.
Was it coincidence?
Or am I truly super?

When a person pops into my head it is usually a sign I need to contact that person (something is going on in their life).
I do the same ... and fairly consistently ... but not quite so specifically.

The brain stores knowledge whether or not we can consciously remember at will. It was very considerate of your brain to nudge you to wish your friend a happy birthday. I love this kind of stuff. I used to write in a journal every day...did it for decades. When I would incorrectly write a different calendar year when writing a date, I would go back to that day and read the entry. It was always something that "mattered" to me.
This kind of stuff doesn't happen to me very often and it isn't always so meaningful.

I think you from a different dimension told yourself. I can imagine another SuperBJ, crossing time and space to bring you this information. But only in a dream could she make an uninterrupted contact.
Spot on! I was just talking with my nephew yesterday about the Multiverse. This incident, plus episodes of deja-vu, would fit nicely with that.

That's a crazy story. That would have totally blown my mind. Funny though, I still think of my first fwb on his birthday (12/2). 🎂 I also actually share my birthday with another past fwb.... he was exactly 13 years younger. 😆 🤣 😂

Haaa. My son and his girlfriend (who recently moved to another city) are here this weekend to belatedly celebrate his birthday, and an early Easter. Last night I asked if his actual birthday was the first one he'd spent alone. He told me that on the day they'd talked, as they do nearly every day, but he asked to have the last words. Those words were "I have the worst girlfriend in the world". She'd forgotten it was his birthday!

I'm thinking my friend must have mentioned his birthday at some point in the last 10 years but I'll be danged if I can actively recall it.
I don't attach much weight to dreams so I'm going to say it was a super coincidence.

Obviously your subconscious mind has a better memory than your conscious mind and did you a favor by reminding you in your sleep. Sigmund would reveal more if we could ask him.

Well, I and all of your other followers know that you are Super. For my part I can not say it is because of your dream. I truly believe that our unconscious mind knows things that our awake mind does not and sometimes it can only tell us the information in a dream. So I have to say I do not consider this a coincidence I will say it can surely seem spooky. Now you may consider what else, if anything that dream told you. It is good to hear you got to wish him a happy birthday.

He was very tickled that I sent birthday wishes on his birthday. That was worth feeling spooked by the event.
Interestingly, last night, I had an interesting conversation with a friend about intuition and connection. We talked about how, when someone I haven’t seen or spoken to in a while crosses my mind, I take it as a clear sign to reach out and reconnect.
Like you, if someone pops into my head unexpectedly, I usually reach out. I would not have thought twice about this though, if his birthday had been last week or next week.
