I am a fan of cheesecake....the picture provided was one of my earliest rendition of the Oreo Cookie Cheesecake.
I would love cheesecake if there was no cheese in the dish!
@MsSkinny I took a cake decorating class at the local Michaels and enjoyed making and decorating them all. I didn't eat them though and instead took them to work and let my coworkers enjoy them. I do have a sweet tooth for cheesecake, but I don't make it for myself because then I won't stop eating them by myself.
@pagancountrygirl Thank you. My co-workers wanted me to make them more desserts. The hungry savages.
@MsSkinny I totally get your dilemma because it is my issue as well. I live alone and never had kids so it isn't like I can bake for someone else. It isn't fun being alone. I took the class at Michael's because of the girl I was dating, and I was encouraging her to take the class together.
She had the best oatmeal raisin cookies (she wouldn't share her recipe with me) but her baking and decorating skills were lacking.
To be fair, I love most pies
Like you, I love most pies.
I voted apple, now if strawberry/rhubarb had been an option...
I'm aaraid I couldn't find room for strawberry rhubarb pie in the poll.
@LovingOral1964 hm, no pie baking isn’t my forte.
peach for the win! Love it soooo much
I've not had peach pie.
This is another great battle here my friend, I had to go with cheesecake as that is my favorite especially the Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake. Which I am sharing here with you. I do enjoy a good cherry cobbler, or crumble pie. And even a black berry cobbler.
I hope you enjoy a wonderful weekend..
I love chocolate mousse.
My grandmother made the best rhubarb pie! 😁
I love rhubarb.
I picked Cherry pie, but it's really a toss up between Cherry and Peach.
Cherry pie is doing well.
I picked cherry pie and prefer it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on it. I find it best when the cherries have a very light sour tang. My second choice would be pecan pie. Have never been a fan of apple pie as I usually find it too sweet and rather bland.
Cherry pie is proving to be a popular choice.
Pennsylvania guy here so I'm going to go with the Amish favorite, Shoo Fly Pie
I've never tried shoofly pie, but I'd give it a go.
Now I'm hungry, lol. 😋🤗🙂
There's plenty of time to eat a pie today!
Apple pie, or perhaps even better Strudel
I love an apple strudel.
This was a really tough one. As I was scrolling down my responses kept changing. In the end I settled on Key Lime just because I figured it would be a neglected choice.
I can't recall ever baking a pie. Cream pies are the only ones I've ever made.
I'm not so keen on key lime pies but I suspect our key lie pies are a bit different to the real American ones.
@spunkycumfun First hint: Are they green or yellow? The real ones made from Florida Key Limes are yellow, but some makers dye them green because everyone knows limes are green.
@CleavageFan4U Our key lime pies are green, so they're not the real McCoy.
While cherry pie is my favorite, I don’t come across it all that often here. Apple pie comes a close second. I’ve baked pies before, but it is time-consuming.
I thought cherry pie would be popular in Japan.
@spunkycumfun
The cherry blossom trees don't produce edible cherries.
@JN63JPN Silly me!
