I took the time to view each video you included on hereYes both were beautiful to watch. I couldn't do what They did so well. In Canada, the USA Dancing With the Stars is televised. I used to watch the Show for a long time. This stemmed from when I was staying at My Favorite Auntie's house for a While back in 2010. Her interest in the Show started me viewing it. We would watch episodes together which are Now great Memories of My Times with Her since She Passed Away a few yrs ago. These 2 Individuals were beautiful to Watch, most Touching. (No Pun Intended.)
Their dances gave us a great insight into the blind and deaf worlds.
Have something like that in the USA which don't watch or have any interest in
You have Dancing with the Stars, which is a spin-off from Strictly Come Dancing.
@spunkycumfun sounds right. Don't watch
@bignicktx Strictly is one of my favourite television shows. It means Christmas is coming!
@spunkycumfun nice do love Christmas
@bignicktx Christmas is my favourite time of the year, even better than my birthday!
@spunkycumfun does the was it Indian or Curry place get your business at Christmas time?
@bignicktx Indian restaurants are often open on Christmas Day as they generally don't celebrate Christmas. I'm hoping to go to an Indian restaurant this Christmas.
@spunkycumfun π
Best show on the box!
I love Strictly too and I'm glad BBC seems to have sorted out the problems.
I love Dancing with the Stars here in the US. Never saw the blind man dancing, that was awesome! (This post is much better than your political ones about Trump.)
I realise that Trump is a divisive figure.
I have never seen Dancing with the Stars even here in the US. I am glad you enjoy your version there and you keep enjoying it for many years to come..
I thought Dancing with the Stars was a big hit television show in America. Obviously not.
I thought this was going down another road.
But that's a good road you're taking us down!
It is often said that people with physical limitations compensate by enhancing other abilities, and I believe that's true. Wonderful songs.
What those two people did, deaf and blind, totally outdid on the dance floor what I can do not blind and deaf on the dance floor. Sometimes we define people with disabilities too much with what they can't do and not enough what they can do.
@spunkycumfun So true!
@spunkycumfun
Well Stated Spunky!
@LovingOral1964 One of my nephews has severe cerebral palsy and I learnt a lot about life from him.
@spunkycumfun I have been surrounded by family And in my career with People who have varying Disabilities. When It touches your Life personally, that is Experience everyone should Learn from.
@LovingOral1964 Experience is usually where people most learn.
Both very impressive! I donβt watch Dancing with the Stars but definitely enjoy an occasional clip. Itβs inspiring to see the close relationships that develop between the pro dancers and their partners.
Sometimes here the relationships get very close, as I presume they do in America.
Strictly over the summer had a series of scandals about how abusive the professional dancers were towards their celebrity dancing partners. A couple of professional dancers have been axed from the show. Now the BBC employs staff to look over what happens in the training sessions.
Strictly seems to matter more for the professional dancers than the celebrities.
And to think how poorly I dance, even with all of my senses intact!
It made me wonder too with my dancing!
