I couldn't find any mirror songs that I liked, so here, have a great musical number from the Oscars. I'll admit, I'm not a big fan of Ariana Grande (so sweet she makes my teeth ache) but hang on for Cynthia Erivo's finisher, it's a banger.
Another re-post for HNW today. Not really half naked, but does the steam on the mirror make it so?
It's been a relatively non-snowy winter here - we had our first big snow day this morning. About six inches of heavy wet snow. HWD had a work from home day so was able to help me with the front sidewalk and driveway, whew! I cancelled both of my morning gym classes to take the pressure off on getting the driveway cleared, but I do have to leave later on for an appointment. Yes, after my post the other day I decided I should do an updated hearing test! My last one was in 2019 and the audiologist advised me to come back in two years - oops haha! Well, 2021 would have been the pandemic and I wasn't making non-urgent medical appointments...we'll see where I'm at now.

Update - the nearby airport reported 9.5 inches of snow. I suppose it had started to compact by the time I got out to shovel this morning. No wonder I was working so hard!

@YourSassyPussy and they didn't even plow the major streets! It was a slushy mess today. Hopefully they'll clean it up tonight.

Tell Cowboy that the longer you wait for a hearing aid, the more difficult the adjustment to it is. My sister thought it would be good to wait as long as possible. Apparently she got very used to her "muffled" life. Once she finally got a hearing aid, sounds like her husband rustling the newspaper, and the microwave beep, were SUPER annoying, lol.
Well done. Yup, I live closer to the airport and I think 9" was a better estimate although the car parked outside had more like 15" being part of a snow drift. The best part of the day was getting my tooth repaired all in one shot because of all the cancellations. There was plenty of time to concentrate on the folks that could make it in. It's great to have a car with a high ground to car body clearance. And I love big snow storms!
I'm glad you were able to make it to your dentist and get extra work done, haha. When I went for the hearing test she said they had had a lot of cancellations in the morning.
The streets weren't great in St. Paul - they seemingly didn't do any snow emergency plowing in my neighborhood, except on Snelling.
@smartasswoman Our street used to be plowed first thing, even before a snow emergency was called but now has yet to be plowed. Good thing I don't have to park on the street.
@redswallow777 I’m on a snow emergency street and normally if there’s a snowfall overnight, they do at least one pass during the night. Not this time. 🤷♀️
I can't view the video. I watched the broadcast and thought Cynthia Erivo outshone Ariana.

Funny story about Ariana Grande when I was younger I watched Big Brother and her brother was on the show he did go pretty far and said if he won he was going to give her the money. He did say you don't know her now but you will. I can take or leave her but I think she did a great job on this song as did Cynthia Erivo who I really like.

FFS. I've got seven feet drifting on my upper deck. If my (back in the day) tiny daughters were here, they could toboggan right off the fourth floor — if I wasn't paying attention.

I was surprised to see us getting heavy snow this morning. The forecast was for rain. Though it is still snowing I don't expect anything close to 6 inches as it is only doing light flurries now.

I think maybe my city was surprised by it too. Usually when there is a big snow overnight they do at least one pass with the plows on the "snow emergency" routes (basically the main roads). They hadn't done that this morning and the main roads were still a slushy mess when I went out mid-afternoon.

Moderately good news - I've had a slight decline in the high frequencies but the rest of my hearing is normal and she didn't think a hearing aid would be helpful yet.
