Love who you can

What you do for others, you also do for yourself. And that act of kindness changes the world.
Thank you Paul for such a beautiful post.
🙏💗
Thanks for popping in to enjoy it.
Huh…why did this show up in my feed again?
@smartasswoman I was confused too since it was originally posted 4 months ago. I wondered if the pics had been upgraded/changed.
@sexyldy1000
Yep, that's what I did and poof... another glitch in the matrix.
@sexyldy1000
I put back the original pic, and now it shows as having been posted in November instead of September.
I give up. 😕
@Paulxx001 I don’t see a change in pics but yes the posted date changed.
Perfect pic! Makes me kinda want Patricia! 👀
She... ugh... could have used your support that night. 👍😊
Here's a link to the original album version of "Lean On Me" By Bill Withers
Our keyboard player had a Roland piano, and it was perfect for getting the right sound.
Alex, our lead singer nailed it.
Back to the main post... I Couldn't DO It... SHE Couldn't Wait... HE Volunteered...
This really interesting
Thanks for popping in. 👍
Lovely story, well told.
Thanks for pausing. 👍
Great photo!
Thanks for pausing. 👍
@Paulxx001 The view was so lovely!
A great and yes, sad story Paul. Strange how we react, and how it can affect us when hearing somebody "has passed", even if we didn't know them very well, or haven't seen them in ages. On a lighter note, Mmm ...... would have loved to have attended your gig!
True, about how ironic and touching "time" can be. 🌹
It was loud and almost out of control. Lol... 😂
The crowd in that hall was always wild.
You would have had a blast. 😎
I think I remember this post, anyway… touching 😊
It's an old post that I pinned to the top of my blogs. I'm posting a NEW blog on Friday.
Happy Tuesday. 💕
Hello Paul,
I also feel like I read this post some time ago, but I still enjoyed seeing it again. It’s fascinating how life’s events intertwine, and 40 years later, some things come back around.
This is an older post that I pinned up on top.
And you're right... life does move in strange circles. 💕
Wonderful
Happy you enjoyed it.
Mmmmmmmm very nice
Thanks for pausing to appreciate... 🔥👍
@Paulxx001 Your very welcome
Nice touching story
Thanks
You're welcome.
Thanks for stopping by and pausing. 👍
@Paulxx001
Thanks for posting
Wow. What an unexpectedly touching and heartwarming story! Although it sounds like he and Patricia were separated tragically short, I hope their time together felt eternal.
He's a very positive individual and seems to look at the bright side of things. I think he felt privileged. 👍
Some people are built that way, and good for them. 😊
Thanks for popping in and sharing this one.
@Paulxx001 Thanks for the uplifting anecdote!
Hot
Burn your fingers... hot... 🔥😲
Damn ..... another great image!
I agree... 😊 👍
Hot
True... 👍
Great story. Strange how life moves forward
It often moves around us in secret circles. 👍
Patricia was lucky to have you looking out for her
Hugs!
That's what friends are for. I'm sure you have people in your corner looking out for you. 💕👍
What a wonderful story to share with us my friend..xoxo
It probably happens more than we know; the part about how couples meet, I meant. 🤗💕
So so sweet. When a man sees us not at our best, drunk, sick with the flu, moody, cramps and bloat, and he still likes and admires us , he is a keeper.
I imagine that's true both ways.🤗
It is indeed rare to hear ‘the rest of the story’.
It was indeed, although somewhat sad.
At least I found out what happened to her. 👍
@Paulxx001 You can close the chapter.
@sexyldy1000
Unless I run into one of Patricia's sons, and his name is Paul. 😶
This is a sweet story, Paul. You revived a couple of memories of my own.
I played a lot of halls and clubs in a lot of cities for a lot of different events; this type of scene repeated itself over... and over again. Occasionally, it was the gal helping the guy. I have seen more than one relationship grow, from one glass too many. LOL... 😂😲
Glad to have been a source of that revival. 👍
