EMOTIONAL WEEKEND
Menopause struck again?? Or just a lot going on?? I tell ya', I don't remember the last time I cried so much. I hate it, especially when it leaves big baggies under the eyes. I need to get my head turned around - and quick.
Ohh, the 90's party last weekend? That was a blast. Even stayed up til midnight, and got to have breakfast with the littles ones the next morning, since I crashed at our daughter's house. It was a long work week, ending with a big fight with same daughter Friday morning. Why does she have to be so bossy?!?! The minute I mention that I (or her Dad) had anxiety about something, she jumps us, demanding we go on anxiety meds. We're good! Doesn't everybody get a little nervous here and there? Sheesh. But she is the special needs teacher/Behavior Analyst. She thinks it's her job to analyze everyone. It's maddening.
We found out Friday night that my brother has prostate cancer. He's scared to death. On a scale from 1 - 5, he's scale 2, so that's good news that they caught it early. Still frightening.
Hubby and I went to the fancy restaurant in town last night, and ate like pigs. We ordered saganaki and sauteed mushrooms, they give you small, homemade meatballs with a bread basket. Salad or soup, I had Halibut with an almondine sauce, rice pilaf and broccoli, Hubby had a slab of ribs and fries. We have enough leftovers for 2 more meals! Thought about having another drink at the bar, but we were too stuffed. Came home and crashed!

Our daughter is a counselor, we understand...and bio-identical hormone pellets made all the difference in the world for my beautiful wife.

My wife had heat also with menopause she did not enjoy it at all....as far has anxiety goes we all get nervous at times we don;t need meds a good long full body hug is the best...take care
Ohhh, the hot flashes are crazy, too! Doc won't put me on hormone replacement treatment because of the breast cancer history in my family. Hugs are definitely great treatment!!
Your daughter was educated to medicate problems. It's frustrating for you and hubby. She will teach you to avoid certain words and conversations, don't ask how I know, LOL.

You totally understand. It's hard walking on eggshells around her. And some of the problems between her husband and his mother are caused by her, I think. She's young. I hope she chills out.

My regular couple I play with. She just got it a year or two ago. She doesn’t want to fuck anymore, her husband wants all of us to stay fucking like before mfm.

That's sad, but unfortunately, that happens. Maybe she will feel better when the treatments are over. All you can do is provide support.
I hope your brother's worst fears don't materialise. It is good they've spotted it early.
He's always been quiet and worried about everything. I understand catching it early is great, just hope he understands this.
