HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!

Well, the kids were here from MN, and gone again, and I got ahold of my anxiety. Whew!! And without the doctor's help. I can't get in to a new doc until 7/31. Tried calling my GYN to make an annual appt, and they must be closed all week. Who knows? I'll try again on Monday.

It was great seeing the kids, although their 2 1/2 year old makes all their decisions. It was very frustrating hearing him scream his little ass off, just to have the parents ask him what he wanted. You TELL him what to do. He's 2, for crying out loud!! Anyways, it's nice to have a quiet house back.

We've been super busy tearing down the old pool, the catwalk, decking, concrete blocks, pea gravel, center drain, etc.. We had help from a neighbor, who brought in a back hoe - what a lifesaver!! Everything's ready to go. The new pool is here in boxes, they will be installing it next Friday. We didn't think we'd miss the pool as much as we are.

Happy 4th of July!! Hubby surprised me last night by saying, "Put pants on! We're taking the bike to town!" Woo hoo!! Our little town has a carnival, beer garden, parade and fireworks. Away we went on the Trike, got cheeseburgers and a few beers, saw some people, and most importantly, enjoyed some after dark riding. I don't remember the last time we rode after dark. The weather was absolutely beautiful - no jackets needed - and gave me the tingle I've been needing. Now, I'm making homemade mac n cheese to take to town. Maybe we can find a little time to play before we go!

This is my first blog, so here goes... My husband and I just got back from "HOGROCK", down in SO. IL. It's a 4-day biker/camping event, similar to the "BOOGIE", which is in So. IN.
