I have gotten way behind responding to comments and posting comments on blogs I follow. It is often not that I have nothing to say but rather that I do not know how to say it. I will not be responding to any followed posts older than a couple of days as I admit to feeling overwhelmed by the backlog and my desire to say more than a bit of trite nothing. You bloggers that I follow and care about deserve more and I do value you. So, I shall not be reading way too many of your past posts in an effort to get a fresh start. Many of you may understand but I cannot help but feel that friends deserve better.
I really wanted to post something for this past Wednesday's HNW theme. Unfortunately, I do not wear or own pajamas. The only thing I wear to bed are a pair of rings and even by my loose standards there is no way most people will consider wearing jewelry being dressed. (Well, if you are a Naturist you may consider adding jewelry and/or makeup as an upgrade to a more formal nudity. Much like the the the difference between wearing a suit & tie vs a T-shirt and jeans.) Thought of posting this Thursday, as in Totally Naked Thursday, but had to drive my daughter to a med appointment that took up all my afternoon so I did not have the time to do so. Yesterday was shot doing laundry and and grocery shopping. Anyway, here is the picture of me in my sleepwear.
I must admit I wonder how many of you prefer to skip wearing even a flimsy scrap of clothing to sleep in. (I admit that not having kids in the house makes wearing no more than a smile to bed much easier.)
Diane and I are still delighting in each other's company though just trying to keep up with the chores of daily life plus other friends sometimes interferes with our getting together for dates as often as we may desire. We are planning on going for a ramble tomorrow. Meanwhile, after a couple weeks of cool to very cool weather we are getting some lovely summery temps in the mid 70s to mid 80s F. I will be stepping out by the local lake shortly and regret that there is no place to for those of us that prefer to be nude to do so. Well, even if there was such a place I would have to put on a pair of shorts and a shirt. At least I can skip wearing underwear. I will bring along one of my skimpy swim suits to put on there.

I always sleep naked and keep a nightgown on the bedside table. My kids learned quickly to just hand me the nightie, LOL.
I get overwhelmed on here when I have been off a night or two. I trust that everyone offers grace if I can't comment. I know I never keep score of who comments on my blogs. I am happy just to be here and express myself.

When my kids were little I kept a pair of boxers handy to slip on if they popped in in the middle of the night. Love it now that such is not needed now. In winter I do keep a robe draped over the footboard of my bed to keep warm if I have to get up in the night.
I can understand how soon you could get overwhelmed if you missed even one day of comments. Being on here an being able to express myself and "talk" to friends here is wonderful.

When I get behind in reading posts I follow, I'll comment on the more recent ones and just leave a reaction emoji on the older ones.
I am having trouble not commenting on some of the older ones and so get bogged down. Will just have to do what you recommend.

I hate wearing clothes to bed, they end up mummifying me in my sleep with the way I twist and turn!
I got the idea of nudity and more formal nudity from a character by Robert Heinlein. Dinner was always formal so one could dress to the nines or be totally nude. No in-between.
I too tend to turn a lot in my sleep. Wearing anything makes turning over more difficult. Skin slides over the sheets easier than cloth.
I feel weird if I sleep naked, lol. I think menopause ruined it for me because I didn’t like the feeling of sweaty legs rubbing together.
I can understand that. For me I go naked because I hated the way pajamas would get to feeling all twisted and confining.
