I don’t want to go too deep into my ideas here, but I believe we are conscious beings moving through an "ocean" of infinite realities: we just perceive one fragment of it, and that fragment depends on the choices we make. Imagine a fish born and dying in an ocean that, to him, feels almost infinite. But in its lifetime, he only "touches" a few molecules of water, while the rest also exists, even if it never becomes part of the fish life. If that fish had, at a certain moment, flicked its tail just a little differently, he would have lived a different reality... but he would still be the same fish

Luck itself will not help you. One also needs to have worked to develop the skills needed to take advantage of it and as you said sometimes just the courage to make that leap of faith. Life and success is a dance between yourself and Chance and you said in other words.
