I believe that everyone is a sum of what they have experienced.
Recently I was researching Buddhism, and the basic premise is "Life is suffering" , which is true, for the most part.
@resant78 Indeed, the concept that “life is suffering” is a fundamental Buddhist tenet. This perspective arises from the First Noble Truth, which acknowledges that suffering (or dukkha) is an inherent part of existence.
In essence, Buddhism encourages us to recognize suffering, understand its roots, and follow a path toward liberation. Each person’s experiences contribute to their unique perspective, shaping their understanding of suffering and the pursuit of inner peace.
Trauma is something that many of us have had to
deal with in our lives and all we can do is take it
one day at a time and deal with it the best we can.
I know I dealt with something about 3 years and
it's changed me forever now. I wish I could get
back to the way I was before but I don't ever
see that happening now, especially with the
world changes that has been happening here.
I am so glad you found some images to use
that were not copyrighted.
I hope you enjoy a Thursday filled with many
fun and sexy thrills..
@Tmptrzz I am sorry you have been through such a difficult time. Trauma is a profound experience that can indeed alter the course of our lives.
Trauma doesn’t define us; our resilience does. Acknowledge your strength—the ability to endure, learn, and grow. Healing is a journey, not a destination.
Take care, and be kind to yourself.
Interesting....
@taurean62dbn In what way 🤔?
@sexyldy1000 most tend to make snap judgements of people. And empathy for others..tends to be missing in todays world.what is the old saying ? "need to walk in anothers shoes....to judge them...
@taurean62dbn You’re referring to the old saying, “Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes.” It reminds us to step into another person’s perspective and truly understand their situation before forming opinions. Empathy, indeed, is essential in today’s world, where understanding and compassion can make a significant difference in our interactions with others.
Instant judgements of people are rarely correct.
@spunkycumfun Hmmm 🤔. I can usually discern b.s. fairly quickly.
Research shows that people form lasting impressions of others in milliseconds, evaluators judge teachers in less than a minute, and even voting decisions can be predicted from preliminary impressions formed during incredibly brief time periods
Listening and allowing the person to talk about it (if they want to) can help them. But I never insist. They often need time to be alone with their thoughts. People heal through compassion and kindness. 💕
@Paulxx001 Compassionate listening is essential when supporting someone through changes and choices. By giving them the opportunity to express themselves without pressure, we create a healing environment. Respecting their need for solitude allows reflection and emotional processing. Ultimately, kindness and empathy play a crucial role in facilitating healing.
