I've owned the habit of examining and following my beliefs and values, but I need frequent reminders to remain consistent. I should pay attention more often and with greater diligence. Your list is a worthy blueprint to follow.
However, I believe that coincidences occasionally have no purpose other than to mess with us.
@Paulxx001 My list is how I see things and what I lean on to get me through life. I don’t expect others to use it as a blueprint but it may give them pause to consider what guides them.

I'm not sure I have a core belief but a set of values, some of which may be in conflict. I'm of the view that no principle should be taken to the extreme.

@sexyldy1000 For example, I like to think I believe in honesty but there have been times that I've been unhonest, that is not being dishonest but not revealing what I think for fear of hurting someone.
Another example is that I like to think I'm a tolerant liberal but there are times, especially when racism and misogyny are involved, that I'm not tolerant.
@spunkycumfun The word unhonest is unfamiliar to me. I had to check if it was a real word. In the context you mention, sensitive comes to mind.
