Hello Loving Friend's,
How are you?
I was a good girl today. I visited the chiropractor because I had a hitch in my getalong. She pushed, poked, and prodded, and my legs are once again the same length.
I kid you not. One was over an inch longer than the other.
Because my spine was misaligned. Wild and true. I am a wacky girl.
Zipped home to prepare lunch. Then off to Norman, OK, home of the Oklahoma University Sooners to donate blood. It's the closest donation center and it is still an hour from the farm.
Couple it with a shopping trip to Lowes and I'm a happy girl.
Cowboy bought the breakers to repair the electrical service to my sewing shed.
Because I threw a hissy fit.
And I told him to get it done before he goes out of town again, LOL. 
I am a bright, sometimes manipulative, girl.
Though considering he is already a couple months late from when he promised to do it, I gave myself grace for being pushy.
Taco Tuesday!!! Did you have a taco?
I didn't eat a taco. I did have Mexican food after my big day. Pollo Loco. Yum!!
Spicy grilled chicken topped with a white cheese sauce, served with rice, grilled onions, guacamole, pico de gallo, tortillas, and a smile
I'm a satisfied, full girl.
And I am practicing speaking kindly of myself. Too often women's inner monologues are incredibly harsh. Mine can certainly be rude. So in today's post I tried to state positive points. It makes me feel silly. And it is supposed to boost my self esteem.

I'm usually quite hard on myself but a glass of wine soon stops those thoughts!

Hello Pony Luv, it has been an adventure. Got the RV and trailer packed. Took my sweetie and my son to the Edgar Allen Poe speakeasy, sadly there was no booze due to local permitting.
Sunday has us hitting the road... Should be fun.
Inner monologue, goes both ways. Depends on the day and where my mind goes.

"had a hitch in my getalong" LOL for this one time Montana gal this is one of my own fave sayings when things just ain't quite right. Inner Monologue - we're all our own worst critics and maybe that's not such a bad thing versus being an overly boresome braggart (enough of those around already). However, that critic can use a muzzle now n again and good for you for throw a rope around yours! Happy Humpday!
Montana always sounds beautiful and romantic. I bet when a snow storm rolls in, the reality would be way more than what I would want, LOL.

@PonyGirl1965 hahah you just nailed it. everyone visits in July and falls in love with Montana and then they move there and when it's still snowing come Memorial Day they re-think their love affair LOL FWIW? I've shoveled snow off the deck on a Fourth of July getting ready for the family BBQ 8-D

Suddenly making one leg an inch longer sounds incredibly painful!
When I talk to myself people think I'm crazy so I try not to do that.
Thankfully when she gets my spine unkinked, it relieves the pain. That moment of movement can actually cause a release of feel-good chemicals. I will feel euphoric when that happens. Its almost as good as an orgasm, LOL.

Sounds like you both got a lot accomplished yesterday. And good for you for pushing Cowboy to get his stuff he promised finally done. I think we all need to push the ones we love at times to get the things done that they said they will do. But I do most of the stuff here so I don't get that pleasure often..lol

I let Cowboy slide on chores for years. Now if he says he will do something, I stay out of it and let him do it. If he procrastinates too long, I am starting to push. If he has time to play, he has time to do maintenance and repair.
And he can't fuss because I still do laundry and cook even in the midst of a project, LOL.

Pony, you really packed a lot into one day — chiropractor, blood donation, electrical repairs, and a well-earned Pollo Loco feast. I admire your effort to speak kindly to yourself.
For me, it’s not a process so much as a way of being. I move through life with compassion and clarity, and I expect my inner monologue to reflect that — not lag behind it.
I give grace to the people around me. I am hard on myself though. I am working to be better

I was wondering why there were no posts lately on sewing projects. No electric! Glad he's fixing it!
I'm always kind first, and try to be helpful to all. Until you piss me off - I have just so much patience. Hubby, on the other hand, is as laid back as Cadillac seats.
Cowboy is laid back too. Probably too laid back, LOL. I need him to do the chores he volunteers to handle
