I'm irritated with someone in town and being told to not say anything. Leave it alone. Walk away. Argh!!
I am a protective humanoid, and I really want to say something. Nothing bad, just the truth. Mainly a shame on you. I would sound like their grandmother.
Some days, I really hate being a polite lady.

Hard as it is, sometimes the less said the better, though there are times you need to speak up too.

You know what hun say what you have to say as your so right the truth is always important. And if you don't it will just eat at you even more. You know it's always good to be polite but sometimes as my hubby says the reason he married me is I can be a very nice biatch..lol

It is possible to speak out politely.
Absolutely it is. I have a great vocabulary and can express myself calmly and with zero swears. Not that it alters men at all. I think they need pushed down a flight of stairs to pay attention, LOL.
It hurts when you have to walk away but it is a good thing you did Hilda would be proud of you just go home and get a toy out to relax you hugs my good lady
