How are you?
I put my nose to the grindstone and stitched 81 quilt blocks together. It is now a 9x9 grid of a quilt top. I will press it and take it to my favorite quilt shop to be sandwiched and quilted on their big long arm machine. I decline to quilt a 9 foot square quilt on my little home machine. And my hand goes numb after just a few minutes of hand stitching, so no hand quilting either. I'm blessed to still be able to do the bits of hand sewing when it is necessary.
And after spending all day sewing, I am exhausted. 
Don't worry, I fed Cowboy. I put a beef roast in the crockpot with a sliced onion, a can of rotel (diced tomatoes, onions and peppers), plus cumin and taco seasoning. It was marvelous. Taco Tuesday lives on, LOL.

I only recently learned that the quilting part could be “farmed out”. Makes so much sense! I bet you’ll be excited to go pick it up.
My grandmother had a huge quilting frame to sit and hand quilt. I am not that patient. I farm my big ones out and they look amazing when they come back
You're such a good wife. I hope Cowboy appreciates it.
He appreciates that I am a good cook. He expects food every night. Though he is very agreeable when I tell him to go pick up whatever, LOL. The man does not miss meals, LOL.
Quilting isn't easy work but I am so glad that you enjoy it hun. And I know your knew quilt will be amazing once you have put together this weekend. I hope you are able to share it with us.
Sounds like a great way to make taco's I will have to remember that one. I hope you enjoy a very happy and sexy hump day too.

I will use pretty much any protein to make tacos. I see whats in the freezer and cook it with spices and veggies

Good for you! Ahh, quilting, I remember it well, sitting with all of my aunts. Listening to their gossip, and taking breaks to eat lunch were wonderful days!
That is how I want quilting to be now. It is so rare that people get together to quilt. I miss the friendship.
I love cumin spice in food; it's used a lot in Indian curries.
