Well, I fell on Sunday. Thankfully I was able to get myself up.
To be safe, I called Cowboy while still on the ground, just in case, ya know, LOL.
The dog had a crisis apparently that was colorless. I stepped in it, slid a few feet and went down doing a partial splits of some sort.
If only it could have been caught on video. I bet I would have laughed and laughed.
Of course, once I got up, I had to clean the mess. Then mop the floor.
No rest for the weary.
So I took today off to rest my achy parts, LOL.
I mean I did pull some weeds, take care of livestock, cook lunch and dinner, and such. But thats not actually doing anything. That's just life.

You cook lunch?! Doesn't everyone just make their own sandwich?
Not around here. Now Cowboy will happily eat a sandwich. A hot sandwich. I butter and toast his bread in the skillet. Then fry his bologna, flip it, add cheese, stack on his toasted bread. Add a side and he is good to go

Ouchie! Glad you weren't seriously hurt. My Apple Watch has a fall alert. Supposedly if it detects a fall it will ask me to confirm I'm OK, if no answer it will dial emergency services and my emergency contacts.
I'm not eager to test the feature but it does give me a tiny bit of piece of mind.
Oh I can see myself missing the alert and firemen turning up! LOLOL
It is super smart to have it. And maybe y'all have handsome firemen
I am so glad you didn't get seriously hurt and your on the mend. It sucks to slip and fall I have done it a couple of times myself. Especially on black ice at night when there wasn't any good lighting.

Falling on ice is miserable! Trying to get back up is treacherous too.

It seems to me that with a lot of women (MUCH older than you are now), they fall, break a hip, and that is the beginning of the end.

Hello Pony Luv, I agree gravity can be a bitch sometimes. I'm glad that you're ok. I was having my battle with gravity this weekend as well. As I told my coworkers truck transmission 1 me 0. I need to get some longer bolts and then... If she really likes me... It'll slide right in. The transmission that is.
