Sounds like it was an especially good night to sit by your lovely pond and just Be. We may sometimes feel like we are just a smudge of carbon etc. compared to the universe but I often feel that if we keep the right frame of soul and mind our souls can expand to encompass all of that universe. Yes, I agree, living with goosebumps is meaningless. A red sunset listening at the blackbirds singing around me, something so simple, gives me goosebumps.

Gazing at the stars does make one feel very small.

As my mother would say, it's not the destination it is the path you take to get there and, remember to stop and smell the flowers.
