Hello Hump Day Humans,
How are you?
It's Hump day. Also Half Nekkid Wednesday. Though I admit I usually think of it as caramel popcorn day at the feedstore, LOL. I'm a country girl who needs horse feed and I never pass up caramel popcorn 
I went shoe shopping today. And it turned out great. The Skechers store was having a 'buy one, get one half off' sale. So I actually bought 2 pairs of shoes. Crazy I know. Now I can toss out the holey shoes, LOL.
The therapist told me to talk about the issues that cause me grief. Talking about them though makes me angry and sad. I am not at all sure it is purging the pain or whatever it is supposed to do. I am trying to NOT be mad or sad. Thats why I went to talk to the therapist. Duh. Does anybody have any insight?
Oh before I forget, go look at the moon. It is almost full. This will be the Beaver moon, the last supermoon of 2024. Also in my SW sky I can see the planet Venus. It was very bright tonight.
This makes me happy

Got to love Caramel Corn it's one of my favorites too, so I hope you got to enjoy some. And that's a great deal on Sketchers I wish they would have a deal like that here too so I can buy some new shoes.
Sometimes it's hard to talk about things that have brought us pain in our lives. And sometimes we can do it with a bit of humor which is less painful but not in all cases for sure.

I think the only way to NOT be mad or sad is to not be human. I struggle with thinking that I shouldn't feel those things (because I was told for my whole life that I shouldn't) when in reality I SHOULD. I should feel them and I should try to dig down and understand why. The pain lessens when I can clarify WHY. YMMV (hugs)

Caramel Popcorn is always a treat! When my girls were little they called me "The caramel corn man" because I used to pop up several batches of popcorn and make caramel corn. The kind that took a couple of sticks of butter and brown sugar.
Have had the chance to view the moon when almost full and last night at just past it. It was beautiful but I have to admit not quite as exciting as the picture of the glorious full peach moon you posted.
Happy to hear you found a good deal on new shoes. Comfortable shoes do make a lot of difference in how you feel at the end of the day. Sorry to hear your therapist was not very helpful. Getting a good one is difficult. Sounds like he or she really did not hear a bit of why you were there. Or was that question even asked? I wish I could give you some insight but I don't know enough to even think if I have any to give.
I haven't made caramel popcorn in years. I had a great recipe similar to yours, lots of butter and brown sugar, hehehe.

@PonyGirl1965 It has been a long time since I have made it and I may not even have the recipe anymore. I lost a lot of mine through various moves over the years. I remember having to add baking soda to the hot mix, pouring over the popcorn and then baking it at low heat for a while.

@justskin1 The baking soda would make it bubble up vigorously. I remember!! And the extra baking made it light and not sticky. We had the same recipe I bet
