I am so glad the political commercials will stop. And just now there was a Christmas commercial on the tv! LOL
I really wish they would wait until after Thanksgiving. Give each holiday their own time. No rush.
Of course, I am the girl that will watch Christmas movies year round. I like happy movies and happy endings. I'm over sad movies. I do not like horror. Romance is often almost porn, so why not just watch the real porn. I love thrillers, mysteries and even some sci fi. I want a good story which is rare anymore.

I am glad the Election commercials have stopped too, they were so annoying one right after the other here. You know I hated seeing Christmas stuff out before Halloween even was here. Like you I would like it to wait until after Thanksgiving too, just like in the good old days when I was younger.
Everything is so commercialized these days, that I don't even bother celebrating Christmas anymore, as its truly not the same like it used to be.

In the waiting room the other day they had on the Hallmark Channel. Sappy Christmas themed love stories were playing ALREADY.

@luv2suk1966 I don't routinely watch the Hallmark Channel though a few years back I did seek out the sappy Christmas love story that was being filmed in Natchez MS when our river cruise was there IN SEPTEMBER. The whole town was decorated for Christmas.
Beautiful, but way too early! I don't ever watch that channel. I like cop shows, horror movies and comedies.
