Tonight while sitting by the pond I was telling Cowboy how the series NCIS kind of makes me want a growly, muscle car. Sort of. I love our trucks. Anyway, I described to him color and decorations. He got online and informed me the Chevy Camaro and Dodge Challenger are no longer being made. Apparently I am behind the times. A day late and a lot of dollars short, LOL.
Yes, I know I can buy one used. It's not as fun of a dream though. Hehehe

Nice car hun I hope you get the one your dreaming of. I have always wanted a black T-Top Corvette I believe it's a 1969. Kind of like this one but not with the red on the wheels or the chrome on it. Just a sexy sleek black one.
I didn't get to see the full moon last night but sure heard a lot of SIRENS as that's always the case on a full moon.

If you saw the classic European sports cars, they would seem like 'model cars' or children's cars with toy engines compared to the American ones. The first car I got up to 'mischief' in was a Renault R8 Gordini, also blue with two white stripes like the one in the photo. But aside from the color, they have nothing in common, and I think the R8 would fit in the trunk of that American beast

@PonyGirl1965 Nowadays, sedans in Europe and the USA are practically the same, not the monster truck pickups in the USA, but in the '70s and '80s, European cars were miniatures while American cars were gigantic, like the Impala and Oldsmobile. Have you seen the Mr. Bean series? Well, his car, the Mini Cooper, was very popular in the '70s and '80s, and now there are huge and so overweight guys who couldn't even fit inside

The moon was great !! It was so clear n visible here with perfect weather. I remember those vehicles back in the day. ....they were very fast n sharp . I rem competing manufactures like the Pontiac Firebird and the Chevy Camaro...same look~
Me being realistic, muscle cars don’t do it for me, since the seats are low and driving one with a booster cushion isn’t very cool 😂
I do like driving cars with manual transmissions, tho

@JN63JPN i love downshifting in the snow....almost no need to brake unless a full stop is needed. No slipping n sliding = perfect !!

My DIL has a super sexy blue Mustang. It is the sexy, souped up, growly one. I love Mustangs best. But since I can't compete with hers, I would go another way. Though the feeling has passed and I'm back loving trucks
Dodge still has some Challengers and Chargers yet to be sold, so you can get an essentially new 2023 Dodge. Some are even Last Call editions. Here's an even better option, though. Go to an auction. You can go to a repo auction or something like that, or there auctions going on a regular basis in places like Dallas, or maybe Tulsa. There are shows about people who do this for a living. But the BEST option, to me, is to go to one of the televised auctions like Barrett-Jackson or Mecum. You might end up on TV if you buy a car on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday.

@smallballs555 That's how a market works. If people are paying a value, then that's the car's worth. Maybe not to you, but somebody paid that price. Capitalism at its best.
It is always fun to dream of a car like that. I don't think I could get in and out of it very easy though. As I get a little older that is what I think of now. 😉
That is exactly what Cowboy and I talk about. Easy to get in but we want an ejector seat to get us back out, hehehe.
We had a 1989 Iroc Camaro, our oldest daughter was also born that year. Me and the baby would zoom all over the place in that thing!! Traded it for the mini van when #2 came.
The Camaro was more fun. The van more practical.

You know they still make corvettes and I bet you would look good in one and they are great on gas mileage
We live off of a gravel road. Between that and our awful driveway ... I think we would break a Corvette
