Boring stuff today 
I had a good time visiting with my son. He flew home Sunday. Boo.
The yard was soaked when we had rain a week or so ago. I noticed part of the yard didn't dry out. UGH!! That means we have a water leak. I pulled Cowboy out of his recliner and showed him. Since son was here the project got delayed a couple days. Our water pressure was normal so it was a small leak.
Saturday, while son was visiting friends, Cowboy started digging. He and I stood there and he asked me where I thought the leak was located. I had to search my memory of where the water was from years ago. Then found the wettest spot on the upper slope and said that was my guess. He thought the water line was farther east and guessed the water was simply running downhill and my spot was particularly low.
So he started digging at his spot. All afternoon Saturday. Never found the water line.
Sunday, he asked me again where I thought the leaky water line might be hiding. I pointed again. He started digging there. He found the water line. Yeah!!
Today he found the leak a bit west of there. Cut out the cracked section. And realized the pipe he had left over from the last plumbing project was a different size than what was in the ground. Cue cuss words.
It was almost dark so we hustled to town where they didn't have the right size pipe either. More swearing.
I found reducer couplers and Cowboy decided they would work with what he had. And it did!
To be sure, he is leaving the hole open a couple days. Just in case it causes a problem. Or messes with our water pressure. So far, so good. Amen! I would rather be without electricity than water.
Note to self - I need to pick up PVC in various sizes.
My Monday was SO much fun, LOL. I hope Tuesday is better.

My Monday was fun. It was bake for the office again. Oreo cookie on the bottom, chocolate cupcake, cored out center filled with sour cherry custard and soir cherries topped with a glossy dark chocolate ganace. I will top with a butter cream later today. I think the boss lady's mum is gonna like these.

I had a water leak the other day and I was lucky to discover it when I did as I think it had only just happened and another lucky thing was that I only noticed it because it came through the ceiling where there was a crack otherwise it could have been days before I noticed it.

I am very glad that you and Cowboy are working together !! Obviously, if I was younger and better looking; I would be making a play to be in bed with you. BTW, are you thinking of going to WICKED ?
My daughter and her hubby are going to Wicked this weekend.

He half jokes that I have saved him a million dollars since we have been together. I'm frugal and a hair OCD. Just enough to hang on to a dollar
It will be days like that, going to replace about half mile of water line soon. Hope it solves lots of problems that occur. Hugs

Us too. At least this time it is clean water and not sewage, LOL.
Those things never happen in the mornings of a weekday when something can be done right away. They usually occur on Friday late afternoon time.
Repairs are always on weekends and holidays, LOL.

Yeeeees it was some perfect days u are spending...i hope fast reforming the cracking section to back to our house wonderful again.. and finished this leak water 💦...but it's water the best than electricity it's temporarily style..lol 🤣🤣 the water is life...for me everything it's will be going good if water exists... until we see this problem with electricity...but water cutting off.. disaster for me..
I need my water. I wash my hands dozens of times a day.

Good going, noticing that a portion had not dried and catching it before it caused more damage.
Soooooo happy that the visit with son was joyful. Family is what its all about, imho ~
