I did that once...give my heart. Totally built my world around her. Engaged. Dropped out of college to earn enough $ to get us a place. Got drafted. Went off to war. She married someone else. Just another Dear John casualty.

@4playlist_Sugswt I would say it took me about 40 yrs to move on. I consider her the wife of my youth. That girl no longer exists. That world no longer exists. But I must admit, that hole has yet to be re-filled. Hopefully in the next life time.
