Okay, I admit I got hooked watching these Survival season summary videos the past few days while nursing myself after the flu vaccination. I didn't know there were so many survival challenges out there. I would said the contestants either get lucky with good location of resources or one really has to have a strong resilient spirit and pray for no incidents or sicknesses or they will be out of the challenge!
I have to admit sadly, I noticed not many ladies are able to survive well in the challenges... maybe women are weaker in strength but most I saw were usually emotional/cried a lot and get homesick once they met with issues and quit. And one of the common problems I saw was that the women usually spent too much time on building their shelters to perfection and forget to hunt or fish to store up for the difficult winters. How I wish for a woman to win in the challenge too. I used to think women would have better body fat to endure through the winters than men. I wonder what were your observations?

I don't watch much television nowadays.
@spunkycumfun Same here, I only watch from youtube and these are the summaries of those challenges. Easier to watch than seeing the entire series in episode one by one.
@mufdiver69er2 I really admired the participates... some of the places are so dangerous with bears & predators. And the chilling winters... all of them lost so much weight and some ended with life long health complications.
