Well, after a month of year end's partying with corporate and personal events... now resting a bit to deal with my bad bout of flu after all that mingling with crowds out there. I'm also working on my paperwork slowly as it's time to get back to serious work and teaching.
To be honest, even though I'm working freelance with a Non profit organization as their trainer. I am having 2nd thoughts on continuing mainly due to payment. They're not paying me much as only a token sum of $25 per session per week which is about 3 hours give or take. But I have completed my first round of 12 sessions which should end in mid November but the last lesson for graduation was delayed to Dec. Now it is Jan 2025 but I haven't seen my payout yet for this first class I undertake from Sept to Nov 2024. That's only $300 and still I'm not paid yet.
I'm already on the 2nd class into my lesson 8 next week. I will complete by 1st week of Feb then. But I wonder how long the NPO will pay me too? I'm someone who is very serious when come to work and on time payment. I don't like serving paymasters who are late in that. So I don't think I wish to continue taking any more classes for them if they can't pay me on time. I am saving up for my Bible school fee as the school will start in April. I can't be waiting around for this NPO's payout if they keep delaying it.
But I'm thankful for this NPO's exposure for me to the media and the adult learners. I know some of them even requested me for further classes so they can get their families to sign up. But I can't tell them the truth that I'm not getting my payout on time and that's why I'm considering not to commit anymore.
I have other projects in mind and I ought to consider the other options. I do need to work more to pay for my household expenses when the taxes are rising again this new year. No time to waste on NPO that cannot commit to their promises to pay the volunteer trainer yet not giving a deadline when.
So my friends here, do keep me in prayers to be able to earn more for my bible school fee and for my household this year! May more doors be open for me to do coaching and public speaking! Amen!

@Hernuman My followers here are mostly English speaking so I only blog in English these days. Maybe you can check for other Mandarin writers in this site for pleasurable reading.
I can well understand you questioning continuing to work for that non-profit organisation given the amount of pay and the lateness in getting paid.
@spunkycumfun I was thinking no wonder their other trainers doesn't stay long either.
