This week's theme is Things that start with U, V, or W. Back in spring, mountainsides exploded in patches of purple with wild wisteria. My wisteria isn't wild, but the vines do tend to grow wildly if I don't stay on top of the vines. It's a summer nightmare. Now, all the leaves are starting to fall off. Not so much that I need to do any raking. Maybe some sweeping.

Wisteria, at least the cultivated ones, do give off a nice, mild scent.

Leaves…I’ve made three trips to the compost yard so far this year, six bags each time. Still have the back yard to do…

@JN63JPN yes, several different locations in our city where residents can bring leaves, garden waste to be composted. You can also drop off branches which get chopped up and turned into wood chip mulch.

We don't rake or blow leaves. They fall where they choose.
I do scoop leaves out of the pond. That's about it though.

Where I live used to be farm land, clear cut of any trees. There are now four on the half acre lot, all of which I planted. Rake? HA!! I run over the leaves with the mower.
But the lovely cuttings you're depicting would receive much more tender care. Happy HNW.

I don't do any raking when the leaves fall. I let nature take care of them. It's called lazy gardening!
