Great story. It's funny what keeps each of us around
Who knew that blogs on an adult site keeps people on the site 😂
Great story
👍
As ever, the few diamonds in the community are what maintains its appeal for me.
We you a little nervous when you first started posting, or did you just jump right in? I remember being terrified, but I had some great support (sadly those folks have all but disappeared.)
My first post was about cherry blossoms, so nothing to be nervous about. I was a bit apprehensive when I posted my first HNW, tho.
OMG "Top Blogger", and the chic whose only claim to it was posting picture of her self-described "PERFECT ass". Those were the days! 🤣
I think she was one of the ones posting like crazy how she'll quit the site if the new Community goes live. Guess which stuck around? 😂
I'm glad the top bloggers list isn't displayed so prominently. I believe that's prevented a few blog wars.
Yeah, it's good not to see endless drama
I remember the drama queens, LOL.
Hugs!!
I think a few have tried to come back but didn't get the traction they hoped so they weren't around for long
Thanks for sharing your origin story. The early days sound like a whirlwind, and I can see how the shift in the blogging landscape changed the tone. Drama queens and leaderboard wars…so glad those are rarely an issue now.
I’m not here for competition or performance. I’m here for connection, when it’s real. And when it’s not, I step back. That’s my origin. And my ongoing choice.
It was pretty much a new world when I first joined
what are you wanting?
🤨
Ohmygod ... the blog wars! I am so glad those are gone!
Yeah, me too. Blogs don’t need drama
