THE PARADOX OF LIFE AND GROWING OLD

Ah, the delightful paradox of aging—where everything we hear, say, or do becomes a cosmic joke on our youthful naivety. Let's dive into this phenomenon with a light-hearted look:

"Did I Say That?!"
Remember when saying, "I'm going out tonight!" meant hitting the town, staying out until sunrise, and regretting nothing? Now, it means going to a grocery store 20 minutes away—and regretting everything when you forget your reusable bags.

At 20: Staying up until dawn for a road trip or cramming for finals.
At 40+: Staying up because your back hurts, and Google just convinced you it’s probably sciatica.

At 25: Bottomless margaritas, shots, and a dance-off.
At 50: Chamomile tea to help your digestion, with a quick chat about probiotics.

• No one warns you how often you'll whisper "righty tighty, lefty loosey to yourself as an adult.

• If you don't use fast food napkins as Kleenix in your car, you must be in a whole different tax bracket.

• Apparently, it's only appropriate to say "Look at you! You got so big!" to children. Adults tend to get offended.

• Driving by myself can be so tiring because I have to be Lead Singer, Backup Singer, Dancers, Drummer, ETC.

• Exercise gives you energy but you need energy to exercise. Sounds like a pyramid scheme to me.

• Sadly I do my best proofreading after I hit send.

• One of the weirdest things about being an adult is having a favorite stove top burner. No one ever talks about it, but y'all know it's true.

• You don't realize how old you are until you sit on the floor and then try to get back up.

• The reason I don't like Facebook's "memories" feature is because it shows me 6 years ago wearing the shirt I have on right now.

• If I was snow white you'd never be ever to kill me with an apple.......you'd have to poison an eclair or something.

• I am now "take a picture of labels with my phone so I can blow it up bigger and read it" years old.

• The older I get the tighter companies are putting the lids on jars.

• Is it just me, or does no one disappear in the Bermuda Triangle anymore?

• We all know that mirrors don't lie....I'm just grateful they don't laugh!

• My ancestors navigated the oceans using the stars and I'm over here missing my exists using GPS.

• That feeling when you don't want to go pee because you're comfy, but you can't sleep because you need to pee.
